Join us and our honored guests for a wonderful evening filled with South African wine & cuisine, live music and an exciting live & silent auction. Many of the handmade quilts filled with messages of love created by the children will be on display, too!

ABOUT US

The Love Quilt Project is changing the lives of vulnerable and orphaned South African children, many of them affected by the HIV / AIDS pandemic. We build relationships between American and South African children by funding education that teaches lessons on kindness, tolerance, and compassion to both groups.

American children express what they have learned by drawing messages of love on small fabric squares that are stitched into quilts and distributed to children in South Africa’s hardest hit communities. In return, the recipients also create art squares for quilts to be given to American children affected by HIV / AIDS.

Love is the Common Thread will celebrate the thousands of children we have reached in both South Africa and the US, while raising the necessary funds to provide programs to more vulnerable children affected by the HIV / AIDS epidemic.
